The Eastern Inter Club Ski League is more than just a group of lodges; it has the largest recreational race league in the country.
There are six race classes (Open, AA, A, B, C, D) and four age groups (Junior, Senior, Veteran, and Super Veteran). The participants vary in skill level from beginner to expert. Tryouts are unnecessary - everyone is welcome, no matter what your skiing level!
The race season consists of one practice race, 3 qualifying events, and a championship race. Awards are given for each class and age group for both men and women.
The racing is a modified giant slalom, with dual and single course formats (depending on the mountain), with each racer making two runs per event.
